Happy 2009 to everyone out there in blog land!!!!!

Hello and welcome to a new year of writing and writing and writing...okay you get the picture, right!
So how many of you out there actually told yourself that you were going to write this year and stop complaining about it and do it?
How many told there husbands or wife's that they had to write at this certain hour or day?
Not many huh!
So do you really want to make the big bucks at writing or is it just the prestige of seeing your name in a newspaper or magazine?
So what is stopping you from doing that? I didn't say it would be easy or a walk in the park? You do have to work at it, you have to discipline yourself to actually sit down and write. It's like an artist friend of mine, he wants to paint but he doesn't have the discipline to do it because he is impatient about selling his work. He doesn't realize that it takes time to build up a reputation on the web, in print, or around the galleries. But yet he doesn't want to continue, because he is spending money on paint and canvas and not getting any thing in return. But as i told him you need to invest in your self to get what you really want in your career, if you don't invest in yourself who is going too?
Any way enough of the lecture tonight,
